The Raskob Foundation has as its purpose to engage in such exclusively religious, charitable, literary and educational activities as will aid the Roman Catholic Church and institutions and organizations identified with it.  The Raskob Foundation has particular interest in projects in which self-help and local support are demonstrated.

Applications to the Foundation are considered on their merits.  Need and the good to be accomplished are prime considerations.  Requests for aid amount to many times the dollars available.  Since our Board follows a philosophy of stretching its funds to help as many different Catholic activities as it can, the majority of the Foundation's grants are in the $5,000 to $15,000 range. 

It is the practice of the Foundation not to make contributions to the same organization or for the same project on a continuing or regular basis.
